Who Regulates Us

Our team of professionals are all Fellows or Members of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) who regulate us.  The RICS is recognised globally as the principal independent organisation for professionals working in land, property and construction.  It requires the highest standards of competence and integrity amongst its members.

We are dedicated to maintaining the highest professional and ethical standards and providing clear, impartial and objective advice to our clients.

Regulated by RICS

Walton Goodland is a registered firm regulated by the RICS promoting a professional regulatory regime which is valued by clients and recognised by government and other regulators worldwide through the commitment of regulated firms to the RICS strict Code of Conduct.

RICS Registered Valuers

All Walton Goodland’s Directors and specialist valuation team are RICS Registered Valuers. The designation recognises the best regulated and qualified professionals in the field, reinforcing the highest professional standards and conduct in the delivery of valuation advice. It is mandatory for Members undertaking valuations in the UK to be Registered Valuers. The RICS operates a regulatory monitoring system to ensure compliance.

RICS Designated Professional Body (DPB)

Walton Goodland is licensed by the RICS Designated Professional Body Scheme. We are regulated by the RICS to undertake general insurance mediation activities in relation to the management of commercial properties on behalf of the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

Other Corporate Professional Membership

Some of our professionals also belong to the Institute of Revenues and Rating Valuation, the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and the Rating Surveyors Association, Chartered Association of Building Engineers.
